Letting oneself look like oneself. Not torturing your hair into submission. Not contouring your face into a mask. Natural nails of a practical length that lets one actually do things. Serendipity and spontaneity. Not performing every detail of your experience for the camera. And for the love of all things holy and unholy not practicing the “camera eats first” philosophy of dining! And please note: none of this requires a trip over the Atlantic although I never refuse a plane ticket in that general direction….😂

this is ALL very true, BUT i also think that our nervous systems are just more regulated in europe when we're there. we're actually present, mindful, slowed down, and not rushing. this makes a massive difference in your health.
