This is an amazing list! What options do you favor for very little ones? We do a lot of eggs and Greek yogurt, but I’d love to have more quick/easy proteins that don’t require adding any powders.

You could make a smoothie with Greek yogurt! Or the banana pancakes are always a hit.

Thank you! We do both of those!

Awesome. Kids don't need quite as much protein as adults. Their bodies are smaller. That said, it is really helpful to get some protein, fiber, and fat in their meals to help regulate their blood sugar, mood, cravings, etc. But a 30-pound 3-year old doesn't need 30 grams of protein for breakfast.

That makes sense! My 1 year old loves oatmeal, so I try to just add a little nut butter, ground nuts and/or flaxseed/chia or even an egg to it to help balance the carbs with some fat, protein, and fiber. Maybe I’ll just add some protein powder to my portion, since I could use it! Thank you for the helpful info!

Love this list Mia! I can't wait to see your waffle recipe. I bought the Cuisinart Double Flip Belgian a few years ago. Question: Do you have thoughts on vegan collagen? I add Copina Co. Original Beauty to my matcha lattes especially, when I am out the door before 5:30 am to go to Pilates😆 xo Carla

Oh good tip! Collagen powder is never vegan. Vegan “collagen” promotes your bodies synthesis of collagen but doesn’t have any amino acids/protein.

Thank you, this is so helpful Mia🙏🏼 I went back to their site and see it's labeled as Plant-Based Collagen Support. It's delicious in my matcha! I will be mindful to have protein in my breakfast, after I move my body. Hope you enjoy your weekend❤️

I definitely don’t as I am a long-time Mia student! today I did collagen and soy coffee then the flax/bran/oats with blueberries and pumpkin seeds with a few edamame on the side and a little bit of the simple mills bread w lingonberry preserve for the broad spectrum approach 😌

Love these! I have been using the simple mills mix for my daughter so glad to see that’s on there. Does soy milk plus collagen in coffee count as complete protein?

Awesome. Ozzie loves the simple mills mix too and it's fun to make together. Soy is a complete protein and collagen is missing the amino acid tryptophan (it has all the others!), but you're getting that from other protein sources, including all complete proteins, nuts/seeds, whole grains, legumes. In short: I wouldn't worry about unless you only consumed collagen for protein, lol.

Mia would you always recommend full fat Greek yoghurt/cottage cheese?
