Essentail Recipe: Quick-Pickled Red Onions
You could use this same method with julienned carrots. They both are a great addition to salads, grain bowls, and more.
Ingredients:
1 red onion, thinly sliced
Rice wine vinegar to cover
1 teaspoon sea salt
Directions:
Add the red onions and salt to a jar with enough vinegar to cover.
Let sit for at least 10 minutes or store in the refrigerator.
