Today’s email is all about fiber. What is it? Why do you need it? How much do you need? Where can you find it? Before diving in, I should note that (like with all things nutrition) this can be very individual. Fiber is generally part of a healthy diet, but some people with digestive issues might not be able to tolerate high levels of fiber or some of the foods on the below list. If that’s the case for you, I would recommend finding a health care practitioner or nutritionist (hi!) to develop a personal plan for you.
Avocados are surprisingly high in fiber. One medium avocado has about 10 grams.
