Cold Busters: 'Tis The Season
My must have immune boosters for the sniffliest time of year
If your house is anything like mine, we are constantly dealing with a runny nose or cough — especially this time of year. With a newborn at home, we’re especially conscious of this, but snotty toddler snuggles are frankly unavoidable. Kids aside, cold and flu season can complicate travel, and keeping up with your holiday social calendar.
The best way to tackle a cold is at the onset of symptoms or just before. Once it hits, we can do our best to minimize symptoms and reduce the duration of illness, but at that point rest is often best. Here some products I always have stocked in the house.

I am obsessed with this essential oil inhaler. It clears your sinuses like nothing other and smells great. Can be used on adults and children 2 years and older.

Sometimes you need a cough drop, but many of them are just candy in disguise. These are my go-tos!
Ginger Shot
Sure you can buy a ginger shot at the store or your local grocery store or juice shot (just be mindful of the sugar), but this recipe really packs a punch and will blast open your nasal passages.
